Progressive Cosmopolitans are city dwellers. Lavish Mod-cons like to splash the cash. And Anti-Establishment Firebrands? Well they're definitely the most likely to vote for Donald Trump if they had the chance.

Welcome to the Political Persona Project , a comprehensive attempt to examine Australian political attitudes, lifestyles and social values.

We asked thousands of people across Australia hundreds of questions, and used the answers to look for patterns. It turns out we are a divided bunch.

Less than a week after bringing Senate candidate Roy Moore on his show for an interview, Fox News host Sean Hannity has given the former judge 24 hours to explain the “inconsistencies” in his response to allegations of sexual misconduct.

Hannity invited Mr Moore onto his radio show last week to discuss the allegations laid out in a Washington Post article. Multiple women told the Post that Mr Moore had pursued them when they were in their teens and he was in his thirties. One woman accused him of initiating a sexual encounter when she was only 14. Mr Moore denied these allegations.

On Hannity’s show on Friday, the candidate called the allegations “completely false and misleading”. Asked if he ever dated girls in their teens, Mr Moore responded: “Not generally, no.”

This sounds like a FUN assignment! A good place to start is to get the sheet music and look for trends. are the songs in the same key? Are some chords used more often than others? Is there a consistent tempo? Are the introductions (music leading up to the lyrics) similar, or maybe the ending (hard stop or fade-away?) Don t worry if you can t read music. just look at it like dots on a page; what s the pattern? (Hint: stack some pages and hold them in front of a lamp or window to see what similarities come through) Another thing to look at is structure and lyrics. are there common themes, bridges or scales used when you look across the different songs? Or of the 3 songs. does one wildly diverge from the other? What in history or culture can we suppose triggered or inspired that change? Can you find something in the artist bios that might explain that? Keep in mind Abba was a European band. So while R&B was the primary influence on music in the USA, what would have been the dominant influence over music in Scandanavia? Another possibility for analysis is to identify how they influenced other artists. Buddy Holly pioneered the pop song formula back in the 50 s, and that influence can be seen in music from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and even music today. Here s a question. Abba kinda pioneered the outrageous costume - in concert they wore big-shouldered jumpsuits, flowing capes, and wayyyyy too much make up. Can you think of any other bands/artisits that did that, and can you pick out any similarities in their music? Look at the date of the songs - what was going on in society at that time? For example, during the tumultuous 1960 s young people wanted an anti-establishment anthem they could get behind - the Rolling Stones responded with "Street Fighting Man." But the Beatles refused to fuel violence and replied with "Revolution". which encouraged questions and self-exploration rather than justify movements or insurgency (the song starts off with a wild scream of confused anger). So what was going on during Abba s era that might be reflected in their music? And is there anything in their patterns/trends that might reflect that? Websites that might help - try fan sites, wikipedia, rock & roll history museum, etc. Hope you have FUN with this project!

Donald Trump has made a final push to avoid a humiliating defeat in the Alabama senate contest , where latest polls suggest the candidate he is backing is trailing by up to 11 points.

As voting centres opened across the state for voters to cast their choice for the Republican candidate for the US senate, Mr Trump posted two early morning tweets, urging people to get behind the man has endorsed, Luther Strange.

‘Luther Strange has been shooting up in the Alabama polls since my endorsement. Finish the job - vote today for ‘Big Luther’,” he said.

It may be a little extreme to divorce over a presidential candidate, assuming everything else in the marriage is good (although Trump fandom suggests that lots of things about your husband aren’t very good). But ending a dating relationship, where there presumably aren’t joint finances or shared property or kids? Girl, do it, and don’t look back.

I say “Girl” because the majority of Trump supporters are men. And while married white women often back Republicans, that’s changing in this election Trump is doing far worse with white female voters than any Republican in the last quarter-century. The people voting for Trump are largely white men a subgroup of white men who are entitled, angry, racist and sexist.

One good way to know if your boyfriend or husband is a soft misogynist (or a more blatant one): He’s voting for Donald Trump.

Republican swamp creatures such as Mitch McConnell are so afraid that Roy Moore will win the Alabama Senate seat that they are pulling out all the stops to block him.

Judge Moore has  denied  the charges and says he’s going to reveal the motivations behind the WaPo hit piece in the next few days.

Establishment RINO hacks have been calling and texting each other trying to figure out how to stop Moore from taking the Alabama Senate seat.
