Read the Sermon On The Mount, and other writings about Jesus Christ. Then live what Jesus Christ said to do, very strictly. Then see if by doing this you don t get to a higher level of understanding. Make a list of all your ethical moral faults. Then the most important fault that you, decide to eliminate that fault. Then see how you feel about yourself. You will feel very good about yourself. Then look at your list of true moral flaws, and work on the next one, and then the next, and then the next after that, and so on and so forth. Moral perfection is a road that leads to Jesus Christ. Because Jesus Christ is the perfect example of moral righteousness. Follow His example, by reading up on Him, and then do the same, and see how you feel. How will you feel??? The answer is better and better and better that is how you will feel. Imagine feeling like Jesus Christ even just a little bit. Now that is something to contemplate surely. And that is something that is worthy to pursue. God bless.

A True and Honest "Hare Krishna" should know at First, that there is NO Story (Fiction) about God Incarnate (God in Carnal body) sri.Krishna--but there is HISTORY (AITHIKAASAM). Even the "dates of birth" of many God s messengers/messiahs/prophets are "International Controversies". As far as Sri.Krishna is concerned, every date of His activities has been "very carefully recorded" in relation to the respective positions of Celestial bodies (Planets, Asterisms, Constellations, Zodaics ) to "Fix" TIME When Well educated, qualified Professors of American Universities say, one has to "SIT" and ponder over about what has been said. SINGING and dancing members of the Hare Krishna movement have staged their first procession through York city centre - pulling along a big chariot.

Tourists and shoppers were treated to a colourful and noisy parade, which began and finished in Parliament Street and took in streets including Coney Street, Stonegate and Low Petergate.

About 100 devotees of the movement, which follows ancient teachings of devotional yoga with roots in the Vedic culture of India, came to York from all over the country, including leader Janananda Goswami.

Vaishnavism ( Vaishnava dharma ) is one of the major traditions within Hinduism along with Shaivism , Shaktism , and Smartism. It is also called Vishnuism, its followers are called Vaishnavas, and it considers Vishnu as the Supreme Lord. [1] [2]

The tradition is known for the loving devotion to an avatar of Vishnu (often Krishna), and it has been key to the spread of Bhakti movement in South Asia in the 2nd millennium CE. [12] [13] Key texts in Vaishnavism include the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Pancaratra (Agama) texts and the Bhagavata Purana. [14] [15] [16] [17]

Vaishnavism originates in the latest centuries BCE and the early centuries CE, as an amalgam of the heroic Krishna Vasudeva , the "divine child" Bala Krishna of the Gopala traditions, and syncretism of these non-Vedic traditions with the Mahabharata canon, thus affiliating itself with Vedism in order to become acceptable to the orthodox establishment. Krishnaism becomes associated with bhakti yoga in the medieval period. [note 1]

A COMPLAINT from a priest who says he was forced to live in a shed prompted a swift response from Australia's Hare Krishna movement - they sacked him and sought to have him deported.

Arjuna Das, who has lodged a submission for unfair dismissal with Fair Work Australia, said his crime was criticising conditions at the Canberra temple, where he claims residents were not permitted to use electric heating and resorted to burning wood in discarded containers to stay warm.

The case has raised questions about how the International Society for Krishna Consciousness uses Religious Worker (subclass 428) visas, a sponsored category for institutions that need access to specific religious skills not readily available in Australia.

Please chant: “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare” and be happy.

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was incorporated in New York in 1966. However, it is not a new religion. Its founder, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada , represents a tradition tracing back to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. And Chaitanya Himself appeared in a succession of teachers dating back thousands of years in India. This lineage, called the Brahma-Madhva Gaudiya sampradaya, is one of the four principle traditions of Vaishnavas, those who worship Lord Krishna or Lord Vishnu as supreme.
